I'm gonna start with why this game is good:
It has a huge map to explore, with a lot of npcs, dungeons, enemies and followers.
It makes you feel small when you first start compared to what you're able to see in the distant, encouraging and making accessible (although hard to find), easy ways to grow to destroy bigger folks and getting a better reward because of it.
You become more powerful the longer you play, as if it were an incremental game, having stuff like mini-games scale in reward the more attempts you give it, essence and sacrifices give you a more permanent way to have power and control over fights (to the point of one-shoting anything below level 2000 that doesn't have all the points in size), and some permanent buffs to your xp gain and growth multiplier
There's a lot of weapons to play around with (although some are just objectively better than others), with different attacks, abilities and passive buffs that can benefit your build, same thing with armor (although it's just better to run around naked after crossing a certain point in the game)
Infinite dungeons, providing infinite replay-ability, with level scaling enemies, to the point where you end up fighting multiple enemies at once (this will come back later), which gets you a huge reward, compared to the tiny reward that you get by stepping on enemies.
And now why it's still not in version 1.0:
Size is a problem that completely disrupts all the gameplay aspects, once you get too tall, visibility of where you're going gets extremely hard. There's invisible walls everywhere, preventing you from moving to places that, because you're so big, you cannot see until you turn the camera like 2 times. You can turn down your OWN scaling of size, not the enemies' one (which also hurts visibility if, for example, they put all their stat in bust), supposedly only changing the visual aspect of the game, however, in battles, your size won't scale back up; meaning that if you shrank yourself VISUALLY on purpose, you'll still appear to be that same size in battle, making your attacks shorter, having less mobility, and making killing enemies that have all their stats in size almost unfeasible, unless you grow yourself, which punishes you by giving less of a reward. This makes the game have a "size too big" despite being a game where you're meant to grow. What I suggest is just changing the scale in between in and outside battles, so you can see, while also not being at any disadvantage when in battle.
Scaling is not balanced: the early game is a struggle (which is not necessarily a bad thing) compared to when you get yourself a good build of: stat, plus weapon combo (for example: legs and slimy ball), and also when you become overpowered. There's a point where you just start stomping enemies that can't fight you (even if you want to fight them), and get way less rewards if you actually fought them. This is further punished, 'cause when enemies get too high levels, you need to kill like 6 enemies at a time, which, if you were stomping enemies level 800, but fighting 6 enemies leveled 850, there's a huge gap in capability on what you can and can't do. A fix to this would be size, but again, low visibility makes exploring dungeons annoying. Some bosses or enemies you can just one shot, and if a fight is hard, it's because or you're still in the early game, or the enemy has 2000+ size, or multiple enemies.
1 animation and 1 dialogue are one of the most annoying things due to how the game is built: having to click "bring it, tiny" against an enemy that I know I'll one shot, while also having to wait some time between fights (for some reason), and how long the game takes to actually enter battle (that might just be my PC tho), that all just seems like a waste of time. I would suggest upping the reward you get by stepping on enemies, and if you defeat an enemy of a certain level (in less than 10 seconds), then you get to step on the rest of the enemies without problem.
Visibility, consistency and scaling are the problems that just prevents you from enjoying the game. I just wish you could match your scaling of stats to the enemies (so that the entire map isn't covered by one npc, yes, that can happen, just beat the beast a couple of times), and then in battle you return "back to normal" size.
The rest is fine, some more direction on quests and npcs you've met would be great, and also don't hide options of npcs, just say what's required for you to click that option.
Money is a bit hard to come by, you kinda need to sell to a specific npc to get the most value, and even then, essence of growth is still hard to transform (and that makes "curing your curses" something that you'll avoid 'cause it's so goddamn expensive).
Other than that, fantastic game, it still has lots of potential, I know digitalfurbelow is working on other things, and that's why I hope that this game gets worked on more, 'cause it's actually very addicting and well presented. Just some minor issues that seem easy to fix that can enhance the experience a lot.
10/10 Would recommend.
