HareBrainedMage rated Dungeon Raid

A browser game made in HTML5.

Ultimately, this feels a little bit too up to chance for my liking, as far as card-based dungeon crawlers go.

If you compare something like this to Dicey Dungeons, for example, you might have a bit of chance and gambling involved with what resources you get, but you have options that you can use in order to spend those resources strategically.

In Dungeon Raid here though, it feels like there just isn't enough information to really strategize much. You can shore up a weakness with stuff bought from the shop, but on each individual stage you're rarely presented with enough information to make an informed choice on whether it'd be a good idea to flip over more cards for some potential reward or not.

I think that this has potential, but it really needs to give the player a bit more information that they can utilize strategically to capitalize on that potential.
