I find myself unable completely uninterested in the Greek-style backstory... the minotaur failed to invoke my sympathy as well. I expected more from the American backstory like the American's war of independence and the NSDAP from Greta. Also, Luke didn't mention a single thing about Bloomberg, ISIS, or even CIA. Sad.

I understand that this work is not meant for an audience of my kind (I am not even into furries), but suffice to say that I was completely disinterested in the vague contracts (completely unlike what I've read in Contract Law) and Asterion's suffering. I'd much rather read The Boy in the Striped Pajamas... 

Though, admittedly, the story was well-written. I can see why people who love this genre would enjoy it. Which is why I gave it 4 stars.
