FebruaryWar rated The Haunting of Myrtle Cottage

FebruaryWar rated a adventure 17 days ago
A downloadable adventure.

One of my favourite adventures!

I chose this to be my first GMing experience. I wanted to run it with Liminal Horror (which I wanted to play and I don't play much 5e), since its fun haunting events would make good stress checks. The feeling after the game was that it was not "liminal" enough for Liminal Horror, but it was still a good time.

Later, I ran this in Pathfinder 2e when I knew my group would be wrapping the previous plotline up in the first hour, and I needed something for the final two hours. The conversion went fine, and it was a blast. One of my players wants to run this for his family.

The colourful maps, handouts, materials, and evocative characters make this adventure really standout. The cozy and not-too-spooky feeling works fine. My players know what a haunted house is and took the cues to roleplay being in it.

I recommend giving it a try!
