Quite a good story, but the VERY unfavourable portrayal of humanity, and your inability to lie (except when the game graciously offers you the option) are very detrimental.
A smaller problem is the fact that the way the energy crisis played out is very, very unrealistic, since chemical storage is inefficient, and still requires a primary energy source, so there's no way it would be produced.
