This is a hallmark game for me - both story and mechanics wise. The story is captivating, characters have well-defined personalities and it doesn't overstay its welcome with dialogues. On the gameplay, the combat is something completely original, or at least I've never seen it before and it works great - it's easy to learn, the difficulty ramps up, but you don't get frustrated and just want to try again. It gets you in The Zone the way Hollow Knight does, but without so much commitment to death. This is so good I've recommended people join itch to play it.
