Great concepts for those new to RPGs (role-playing games)! Cairn also helps with session 0 info. It's a quick system to pick up and play because it simplifies many things; I grabbed a print copy, too; because I like analog games that don't cost apple juice. It would benefit from a step-by-step list in a few areas (e.g. combat), but yochai gal has a YouTube that explains it. It's really nice for one-shots, can easily be adapted to solo play (see Barrow Delver or DIY) or even longer play (see Axe Wizard on YouTube or DIY). Now I'm off to check out the 2nd edition of this one!
