While definitely interesting overall and very slick in presentation, the game ultimately suffers from flaws in its pacing. Some of the more notable bits are as follows:

- Due to how easy it is to unlock the brutality skill tree, words of power become trivialized very quickly, becoming less of a "boss" and more of a chore to just get through the next level

- Half of the rituals are not really worth it (Pay 200 dust to break even in a few hours) and half are extremely powerful (A nightmare costs 2 levelups and might seem to *only* generate 0.001 enlightenment per bar, but you can use transmutation to very easily convert that tiny amount to ABSURD amounts of lower-tier resources

- Ignoring the workaround above, blood is very hard to get, especially if you haven't navigated through all the skill trees to find said workaround.

All in all, the game has flaws, but the atmosphere of the whole thing is top notch. If it ever gets an update or a spiritual successor, I'd be interested in checking it out.
