Retro infused action platformer that is a mix of Megaman style platforming/combat and Commander Keen style aesthetics. When opening it, I was already ready to write it off as "another action platformer" and got thoroughly splinter zoned. While the level design looks basic, what really keeps you on your toes are the enemies that you will need to outmaneuver. Once you got the hang of how the enemies behave, it transforms into a satisfying ballet of bullet death. I disliked the semi-randomness of the level layouts at first, but they actually do a great job of making you do another run, and another run, and another run, cause the changeup is enough to keep you entertained for another 10 minutes. There really is no other way to put it, this game is just surprisingly satisfying. 4/5
