I sincerely love this VN.

Was it perfectly written? No. Was it well paced? No. Did i feel immersed in the world? Yes, definetely.

I read all the routes and mostly liked two out of the four.

In Rowans route I personally didn't find the connection between him and Harper convincing. The dialogue between the two didn't show much personality which didn't make me like their relationship. Due to his backstory he is definetly a hard character to write.

Theos route was a better one. They had a lot of dialogue and you could definetly feel the connection between him and Harper forming. His character was well designed and a conforting read.

Cedar, aka the sweetest little deer ever created, was the best written route in my opinion (definetly not biased here 🙃) He had the most compelling story and charecter in the VN as well as the best build up. I sincerely love him.

The final route felt especially fast paced. The concept and plot is great but in my opinion not executed the best.  Apart from that, the ending had me a bit teary eyed.

Personally I do not like a MC without a given personality and/or design. I understand that it's to immerse yourself as the character, but this usually leads to little MC dialogue and very standard responses  / character engagement. Also I believe the CGs suffer from this as well. with a design and fleshed out character not only the dialogue but also the connected visuals get complexer and more believable. With this self insert MC the story sadly got more flat.

Nevertheless I had an amazing time reading this great run at a visual novel. The story is very memorable and it was a conforting read. The Idea of the soulmate at the end made the connection, at least for me, in the end espeacially beautiful. You can only guess who was mine 🙃

Great work. I can only wish for the author to bless us with more amazing stories...
