It's like, wow they are trying to go for something and it sure seems like there is talent behind the team, but then why is the gameplay so trash? As an avid card game player and collector both, I am intrigued by the prospect of the core mechanic, but then quickly find out the starting fights are pure luck and semblance of strategy is marginal at best. So maybe strategy gets deeper later? Do I get more interesting cards and better deck limits? Yet progression is so slow I haven't gained a level or unlocked any new things of note despite playing through all the starting fights I could, winning some and losing others. Even if the game can eventually become interesting this is an atrocious way to try to introduce it, and devs should learn that letting people have fun rather than suffer is the only way to garner an audience in the f2p space.
