I wrote a shorter review in the comments section of the game, but I'd like to write more extensively in a formal review. This game deserves that!
Firstly, I really enjoyed the game. It was captivating, simply put. The art style was really intriguing and unique, and it made for a lot of cool scenes in the game, especially paired with the dramatic yet very cool cinematography. I also loved all the references I saw throughout the game. I'm a HUGE punk rock fan, as I mentioned in the comments, and I absolutely loved seeing all the references to its' media in the game, from Bowie to the Clash (my favorite band of all time), it was awesome to see considering I've literally never seen music giants like them ever mentioned in any game I've played.
Now, while I really enjoyed the game, I felt like there were some things it could've improved upon. There was a missing texture for the guitar in the apartment the man lived in, but that's a minor thing that didn't really affect how I viewed the rest of the game. In regards to the actual plot and gameplay, I felt like there was a bit lost with the plot sometimes, especially in the scene changes with the two storytellers and whatnot, and the game should strive to be a bit more lossless by simply having a few more details to bridge any gaps players might have. I'm a big fan of these sorts of games, so it wasn't too hard being able to do so, but I know there were definitely some areas of the game people weren't able to pick up on. In regards to the gameplay, I thought it was completely fine and I liked some of the puzzles or obstacles the player had to complete in order to progress, I thought they were very fun. I would maybe like to see a bit more from whenever you get caught or "die" to obstacles though, like the clock pendulum in the church.
Overall, this game was awesome and I loved playing it. Despite the bugs and loss in the plot, I think it's more than deserving of 5 stars. I usually try to donate $5-$10 with these sorts of games, especially the ones I enjoy, as I know they take time and work and I really appreciate the indie developers that make my gaming world go round. So thank you, I really hope to see more games from you in the future!
