This game has some fun and clever ideas, and evokes Southeast Asia quite effectively. I wish there were more explanation of what play *looks* like, because the game feels quite unique and unsuited for "standard OSR" style play, but doesn't entirely give me a sense of what to replace it with.
Still, most excited I've been for an "OSR" game ever -- skills are fun and evocative, the different folk are appealing, heirlooms are great, and "meddling" is a fabulous replacement for the awful old "adventurer" trope. I just wish I had an idea of what I could do with it.
