I was never able to get into Steven's Sausage roll. Despite the similarities, I was able to get immersed in Campfire Cooking.
In Steven's, the character movement feels like a struggle, as a part of the challenge of the puzzle. In Campfire, it does not feel like an obstruction. This is a case where less results in more.
The visuals, music and setting, kids playing around a campfire, all adds to an appeal that's just not present in Steven's. While the other game is praised for its puzzle design, the puzzle's in Campfire Cooking is not lacking in anyway. It's just a more pleasing experience overall.
