Neko Shark rated Type Help

A browser game made in HTML5.

One of the best puzzle-mystery games I've played, period.

The story is long enough to be enjoyed over a period of time, but not too complicated. The characters feel like they have motive, and you can feel the connection and tension between them as the story develops.

[@] A piano can be heard playing in the background.

I've always found it easier to understand other's emotions through text, and maybe that's why I feel that way about the characters. As a text-based puzzle game, you really have to push the boundaries of either making some really cool ascii-art, or a well-crafted story for the limitations of text to become obsolete. This game doesn't need fancy RTX RAY-TRACING ULTRA RESOLUTION 69K RESOLUTION AI-POWERED TEXTURES, just it having a good story, and characters that have actual depth and feel like actual people is more than enough.

[@] The lyrics "I'd Climb the Highest Mountain for you~" can be faintly heard in the background.

I've mentioned the characters twice in this review. That's because they literally make up 90% of the story, without them, there wouldn't be a story. And without the story, there wouldn't be a game. I have nothing else to say other than, I was blown away. Very similar story to Scratches, but also very unique. *Also in the same way the ending terrified me.*

I typed help, and got help, 5/5 on Itch.io, would recommend if you like murder-mystery games and...

[@] There's a thunderclap outside, and the sound of someone falling to the floor.
