real trauma in well written self-conscious narration strewn across what is ultimately a kind of hard-to-read plot that engages in a "Terrorist" fantasy consciously, it's in a couple hundred layers of ingroup knowledge put through a thesaurus-heavy filter with the kind of inconsistently toned prose that I would write with.
Covering your ass with a "we don't endorse political violence ooo" and then having a "support your local antifa" is very redundant i really dont know what that does.
an anarchist trans brown/black (since there isn't a good pallete standard) woman monologuing to a bougie colonizing white woman about how she is the hitler she knows she is, it's a weird piece, it's a bit pandery and preaching to a group of people who've already self selected into playing it by the listing page alone, it runs into the same circular flow of media and information that keeps leftist ideas in the left: we're always talking to ourselves.
I'm inclined to think a portion of this is a deliberate political outreach: Xenia is basically just writing a large manifesto in conversation, but it's designed better as trauma healing media, where 'talking to ourselves' is very good actually, it excels more at being cognizant of ingroup issues than being able to comment on ingroup outlook in a way that actually feels new, not another re-run of points out of the same five books.
I'm conflicted about how much I'm not conflicted right now, but I don't really think there's a lot I can comment on this 3D VN, I wish Xenia was able to use her normal speech outside of her monologue with the Person Who I Forgot The Name Of more often, and that her conversation with...Mariette (okay) felt more like an actual prod into a softspot of an actual wannabe fascist rather than basically just talking to and hitting a wall.
Actually you really could've just replaced Mariette with a wall, or a bag of jewels, if you really hate jewels.
