This is an incredibly well made VN with both romance and a mystery to solve. I expected to skip through the 'mystery-solving' aspects of the game after my first play through because I'd know how the story ends, right? But the programming is smart enough to randomise the murder scenario each time so you can't repeat the same steps to find the murderer. That alone is impressive but the romance storylines are also really cool. It took me three or four attempts to romance Amoret because your choices aren't obvious - there is no blatantly wrong or blatantly right option. I was also really impressed at the sensitive and accurate handling of addiction and mental health issues. Despite the fanciful premise of the game, this is one of the most 'realistic' games I've played in terms of how the characters speak and behave. I really love it and can't believe it's free! <3
