I am completely shocked that such a huge game was packed into such a small platform. Do not let the price dissuade you, this game is absolutely worth every penny. The completionist will derive hours and hours of gameplay from this, much more than almost any other non-puzzle playdate game in catalog. If you are a fan of adventures or RPGs, this is a must buy for playdate. And if you are a fan of sandbox games, even more so.

Normally, I don't really care about the sandbox genre, but Shattered Wilds has a gentle enough learning curve and forgiving resource management such that I got totally into it. My quest to un-shatter the wilds has been aided by my mission to build myself a castle (or two) before the end arrives.
