A beautiful and joyous LARP about serving in the Women's Timber Corp, which was made up of around 15,000 'Lumberjills' who produced wood for the British war effort during WWII. 

The focus is on empowerment, self-discovery and figuring out what you want from life. Romance is another potential key theme, but it would be easy to opt out of that and develop friendships during dance scenes instead if you wish.

This LARP is designed to be user-friendly for newcomers to the medium, and the guidance certainly delivers on this front. The historical notes, well-considered mechanics and compelling writing do a great job of setting you up for success if you want to run it. The additional materials (such as the dancecard Google Sheet and links to music/ambience recommendations) look really useful, too.

I was particularly impressed by the excellent safety guidance and the careful consideration given to gender-diverse, queer and racialised people's experiences in the historical context.
