The recent UI fixes are most welcome, as it means I don't have to finagle as much on Deck to get my game going or finished for the day. This game exudes a lot of style and the guest compositions are mostly quite good! (Not so sure about the Sandbox Land arrangement, but that's just me.)
I've been playing Arcade Mode a bunch lately and have recently managed an entire loop with 5M points and 1K ghosts. That said, I think the majority of my time should probably be relegated to Versus Mode from hereon out. I'm...way tapped out on Arcade Mode now, even Glass Cannons can't keep me away from double-digit lives forever, haha. The new option to save your high score when quitting a run is appreciated in this regard.
Honestly I think options to set much more challenging score extend milestones would help Arcade Mode's replay value immensely. Another proposal I have is for the possible addition of a Caravan Mode that's either time-limited (Championship Edition anyone?) or ends after a set amount of stages (think the Tengen ports of Ms. Pac-Man or the DIP switch settings in the Namco Classic Collections). I feel like those would be very satisfying to mess around with.
Great game. Still rethinking how much of a forever I can take though.
