Playing it solo has been such a weird, fun, and curious experience. My Wanderer's gone into someone's twisted version of wonderland - and every card draw seems to build on the somber feelings of knowing but not knowing. I'm not following the setting too closely, but it's definitely impacting the game.

I haven't tried it with others yet, but I personally can't help but keep going even if i sit down just to tackle one or two rooms. It really is the ttrpg metroid-vania experience I'd recommend to everyone interested.

My first jaunt into Mnemonic is this game, and if the others are just as good at tugging at my heartstrings, then I'm all in!
