I think Forest of the Deer God might be a bit daunting at first, I know a lot of people shy away from "gameplay" vns. I do too, because normally it's pretty poorly implemented. In this case though, it's very obviously the focus, and is integrated well. I think the "hints doc" that's willing to help hold your hand through the game goes a long ways for those that might be struggling, and anyone engaging earnestly with it and not trying to brute force should have a lot of fun. I certainly did.
