pffft, stupid. dumb. I respect the vision. I think it lacks in scope, though I get this is a jam game. It does read sort of like a Scream movie, but I think it lacks on the real terror and stakes that help make Scream work. We hit the archetypes and the tropes, but we don't really do anything interesting with said archetypes and tropes. The lack of sprites with expressions also hurts things a fair bit. The horror isn't really suspenseful, and the comedy isn't quite absurd enough. It needs to be pulled more in both directions, if that makes sense? On the flip side, there's some little things that I think hit the parody part dead on. The horror theme having these little breathy "hooohs" and "haahs" in it, the emotional theme dripping with unearned catharsis, both very strong aspects. And tbh even though it isn't really used in a way that matters (and barely makes sense) I appreciate the design of the Killer. "Everyone in this theatre is a faggot" and "squee?" both made me chuckle, as well as "You're just not my type..." 

It's a project that I think is often lacking in execution, but would be really fun with just... a whole lot more of everything involved.
