A friend made me remember about this visual novel and I recall why I enjoyed it in the first place. I absolutely loved the art! I haven't gotten around to playing each route yet (only Therium, Alvy, Tate atm) but I'm stunned at how nice everything looks :3
I especially remember one sudden moment in Alvy's route that stuck with me. When it came to the topic of Cody telling Alvy about he and him not being so unalike! It gave me chills when Alvy's demon friend intervened out of nowhere. Funny how a visual novel could turn into something so horrifying, huh? My favorite, probably overall, is Alvy's and I like him as a character the most with his relationship to Cody. I hope there'll be more to Alvy and Therium once the main trio and Scribbles route is taken good care of even though the two are only side content :(
Also I'd like to point out that I really love the premise of Cody lugging around Scribbles in his head. It's not something I've seen often so it feels pretty unique!
I don't really have anything to critique except for maybe the dialogue feeling a bit too cheesy at times? I'm not sure. It's both funny and very surprising how meta the text decides to be. And on a last note, FREE MY BOY ALVY D: PLEASE I hope :(
I really wanna see a happier conclusion for Alvy if that ever could be an option!
