Silent Hill 4 Energy, which I appreciate. I liked this game, I think its gimmick was clever, I just wanted... a little more. I think it needed to be a bit longer to really let its different pieces fit together better. I understand wanting to keep it mysterious, let the audience put things together themselves rather than handing over all the answers, but I think that sometimes the sort of... choppy jumps between levels of severity and escalation put a hamper on the impact. We spend a lot of time waiting for answers that never come, and that doesn't have to be a bad thing, but the ultimate pay off of "oh right I fucking died to death" ends up coming off a lot more "well, okay. that just happened." instead of a tragic journey of someone's relapse and suicide. the monster is hot
