The concept is not new, the variations of the game exist offline as well (for example, two players picking combinations and then trying to guess each others codes via query->response). I sometimes play a little game like this with my own script. Main drawbacks to me are:

- can't enter the number, have to click until the desired number is reached

- no log of previous guesses like in wordle to keep an easy visual track of the information you have

- do not enjoy the audio, but it can be muted
