This game, which was further developped into a full game, ask the player to alternate between two tasks : digging to collect ressources and defend the base (the dome) against monsters. The ressources can be used to buy upgrades and repair the dome. This game ends either by finding the path to the core below the surface or by being overrun by the monsters.
