Woo, congrats on getting this first build out. I do sometimes think the zoomer/tiktok/aave is overdoing it. it's not that it's not understandable (though it rarely is) but more so that you're trying too hard, and it's just nonsensical. you end up sounding like that Alexa Amazon Gamer commercial. Which is too bad, because there's some genuine banger writing. I like the art, but I feel like you put more effort into your little sona at the end than you did the entire sprite set. There's not really a lot to go off of yet, it's the first third, but I'm still waiting to see what the real plot pull is gonna be. I guess Carrick is gay? Maybe for Blake? 

Anyway the real loss of stars comes from the accessibility issues. love the aesthetic, I see what you're going for, but jesus christ. between the number of cut off auto run sentences, and the fact that the font in the history is virtually unreadable, the real challenge of this vn isn't the post y2k crashout dialogue, it's trying to navigate the game itself. 
also, and this is just me complaining, there's only one song that plays during the game? i mean it's a very good song, I like it, but I would like... more... please? 

anyway I do hope you finish out the other 2/3rds, I'm looking forward to it, and I think you've got a really promising start.
