A fun tactile dungeon crawl for both solo or multiple player. I really like the options it provides to play as coop or competitive or even multiple characters in solo mode.
Having played the earlier iterations of the same gameplay styles, Void Intentions where you are the heroes exploring several small levels of the dungeon, and Void Halls where you are the masters of the dungeon luring heroes in to perish. This game feels very much a harmonious and natural progression of this roll and write play style.
The physical components are a nice "touch" but ultimately aren't needed as the print at home punch card style token trackers do the job well. That might be my only real complaint, is that it takes a minute to set up and put away. I 'm one of those people who get OCD with meeples or game components.
Straight forward gameplay, easy resolution system with a single d6, and fairly well balanced game loop make this one an easy game to pick up and play as well as teach first time players.
