While this thing is Janky as hell I would say that it adds to it's charm and it's still a step above doing layout in something like Microsoft Word, Canva, Pages or Excell. There's apparently an artist that makes huge elaborate illustrations in excell which is.... just painful to think about. 

There's lots to love about this from the Kid Pix aesthetic to how well the zines are to put together once their printed.

The only thing that sucks is that when I go into the program on Mac, I haven't been able to figure out how to make it so that Dictation or the Emoji viewer doesn't pop up when I type the letter E. I am sure there is a way to turn this off and maybe it's a setting on the computer itself but I am unable to tell if this is a feature of the zine program or a setting on the computer that does not come up when I am in another typing program or window.

If I am able to figure it out on my end like, why that keeps happening on Mac I suggest maybe putting that in the programs read me file for mac users in the event it's just a setting that I need to toggle off.

I just recently made a zine for my wife that is a little cheat sheet for medication indications and contra indications for practicing her EMT skills and it made the process fun and weird. Thank you.
