I liked the exponential upgrades. I never felt like the next upgrade was too far out of reach. I also liked how the brain resource was limited and you had to plan out which upgrades you unlocked.
One thing I thought needed improvement was a hover on the brain progress bar. I would have liked to know what the next threshold I needed to have to unlock the next brain was. I also would have liked the ability to prioritize certain areas specifically. I noticed that a lot of times my meatballs from my trappers were disappearing b/c my haulers and throwers were focusing too much on other resources. Being able to set a higher or lower prioritization (similar to features in games like Rimworld & Oxygen Not Included) would help me feel like my resources weren't wasted.
Overall I liked it and will wait for its full release on Steam.
