The plot path seemed very forced and did not feel like I had a choice in anything.  I was just forced along the ride that wasn't even enjoyable.  The characters all seemed like grumpy assholes except the dad joke one.  So even if I could get immersed in the forced path.. the characters gave me little drive to do so.
