Taffy Tales review

Played redux for the first time without ever playing the original a few weeks ago.

It was one of the WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD IN GAMING PERIOD.

And AI was the least of the problems. The game was straight ass the UI was annoying, clunky the fact that everything is SLOW. I.e if you want to click on something for info or to talk to someone, it's insanely slow just to click out of it. And in a dense game like this those wasted clicks can turn to hours of time gone just navigating around the map.

the progression the worst part EXTREMELY SLOW, not even one sex scene with the MC in TEN HOURS. Nearly 50% I played or more before i was just done. That's insane the "slow burn" is bullshit and just turns into a worthless, tedious, mindless grind that I realized is just geared to waste your time.

The dialog/story boring and meaningless. Red is a dumb mechanic that doesn't go anywhere. As with nearly every character of the giant roster which after 10+ hours of fucking padding I can say are all pointless as well. What's the point of 40 characters if no progression exists. What's the point of fooling around with the nurse on like day 3 if your NEVER GOING TO FOLLOW UP?? made me so mad that we started her route and abandoned it before it went anywhere.

No choices, no agency, the entire game is slop.

The ai art is beyond overused. Okay, maybe use it for backgrounds and background characters, but almost every single character, especially in sex scenes, is very lazy, especially if people are paying for it.

Imo ai at the point where it is now should just be used as a helper tool and not something you're gonna build an entire game out of.

The worst part is that it wasn't that I had low expectations. I had high expectations and was completely and utterly disappointed.
