Even with some frustrating puzzles, I found The Librarian intriguing. Why does a librarian need a sword? What is that thing in the yard? Why does the library have puzzles? We don't get answers to all of these questions, but the excellent art and music carry it forward over its brief (just 20 minutes) experience.
