This is honestly the best doppelganger story/VN I've witnessed! The character dynamics, especially with Mari and so many others are handled with so much grace. Especially with side characters that you only see for a few minutes like Leanne. She sounds like a good boss, but Mari isn't open to her boss about her struggles and internalizes it too much. I can understand Leanne's hesitance towards Mari because you can't realistically solve all your problems by yourself especially in a workplace where community and teamwork means a lot. The fact that she made sure Mari knew that she only had to ask for help to regain her trust spoke so much volume, but for someone as jaded and hurt as Mari she couldn't understand it.

And don't get me started on Franny! I feel like she suffered a lot watching her friend never get better, Franny cares so much for Mari but it's like her love is being depleted whenever Mari continues to cycle through familiar yet bad habits. I feel like Franny adores Goldie because Goldie could be Mari, just without the trauma holding her back.
