Lone_Beagle rated Project Silverfish Early Access

A downloadable game for Windows.

I'm really impressed by this game. For an early access game, I haven't encountered any bugs in over 30 hours of play (knock on wood), and the core gameplay is really good. As others have said, it reminds me of Stalker; it also reminds me of Deus Ex, as you can approach missions with either combat or stealth (or a mix of both).

I really like the first-person, immersive, open world gameplay. The world is fairly large with a lot to explore. There are an interesting mix of factions, good enemies, and anomalies to deal with, as well as mysteries to explore and figure out.

Starting off, you are just scrounging for survival. You are pretty easy prey, so you have to be careful. As you figure out what factions to ally with, and what enemies to run from, you gain more confidence, more loot, better weapons, and then you can try to solve the mysteries and make an impact on the world.

I'm not an FPS-shooter expert/fanatic, but the gunplay seems really, really good to me. Different weapons have different strengths and weaknesses, and planning ahead of time for each mission will definitely pay off.

Overall, **Highly** recommended.
