Copper Odyssey 2 is a triumph, a  complete explosion of creativity that accomplishes what only the best indie games are capable of accomplishing; evoking the feeling of picking up a life-changing zine at an art fair and realizing--wow, I want to create something like this someday.

Where Copper Odyssey's relatively low renown feels criminal, its sequel not being a chart-topper is no less than a divine sin in my eyes. This is pure, uncut love condensed into a game engine in the same way as Pinocchio has been imbued life--a puppet, a quaint and charming wooden frame with a soul more vast than most humans I can think of, made this way because of passion yet unprecedented. Copper Odysey 2 is a triumph, yes, a godly being inhabiting a doll's body, a spark of something greater that becomes an infecting light in the eyes of its beholder, myself. This will take me far.
