The experience is cut down significantly by not differentiating between save files that use cheats and those that don't. 

Even a little star next to a save file to distinguish files that never used cheats would be useful, but as it stands I lost all motivation to beat it once I realised I could turn on invincibility and max jumps and then turn it off with no differentiating between that and completion without the assistance; especially for speed runs.

Accessibility is important, and having those options is a great thing, but this feature (or lack thereof) doesn't make it more accessible to a more casual crowd, it just makes it less accessible to those not in that group.
