All of this reminded me of an old text based game where you got to encounter and basically own a gargoyle and do the same things to her, but she could talk, just couldnt leave her abode. For now i only played the web version in my off hours at the work's computer since mine is broken, but i'll play though the full version as soon as i'm able to. But i gotta say, if stones were inspiration, you were run down by an avalanche. I used to play a lot with RPGMaker back in the day, and i sort of thought it kinda fizzled out but you took it and raised it to a new and impressive level. You got a fan in me, that's for sure.
