I love what is here, my only concern being I guess the pacing. Maybe density is a better word for it? There is a lot of writing for not much story progression, or at least that's how it kind of feels to me. It's not necessarily a problem nor is it something you necessarily need to change, but I'll admit that I was quite surprised at the word count for being still in chapter 1, though part of that is due to the non-standardized nature of how much a chapter is. Regardless, I'm excited to see where the story goes, and I'm enjoying thinking through the various character's philosophies and personalities.
