Incredible, just as expected from the most marvellous storyteller of all times! Immersing myself in this visual novel at 12am, with my headphones on, is one of a kind experience. I absolutely adore all of your stories, and I cannot express how much joy your new projects or updates bring! And the music is just top-notch, unmatched, fitting the atmosphere perfectly well. I especially liked the track from the maid's story...
And speaking of the stories contained within this particular visual novel, the scholar sister who is not quite your sister has to be my favorite because the way Caroline goes from hate to love to devotion to some sprinkle of doubt, but ultimately choosing to let her love prevail over anything else... is splendid! A curious soul needs to know what her "sister" would do when she realised her ideals would just not happen, and you blended that in perfectly, from the perspective of our detached protagonist (if that's what she could be called). Those 2 were closest to have been so happy together if that confession took place in less morbid circumstances (and if the aspiring scientist would think things through before proceeding to do the unthinkable), and this just goes to show how beliefs can ruin relationships or other people. The scholar was blinded by her own aspirations and genuinely thought her sacrifice would open up the gate to achieving them, in her own twisted way. Caro was completely besotted with her and couldn't see how her genius of a sister could be wrong and was swift remove all doubts from her head on the pretext of her adoration and love. But, as the other 2 stories clearly state, one should pay attention to what the other needs and feels. This was especially heartbreaking in the nurse's story (I am aware that's your favourite one, hence why it's strategically placed in the middle, in a bigger glass shard; love that little touch) and the maid's final resolve ( Also, I might be a bit mad, but the maid's tea strategy to help her lady out might not have been so bad of an idea to free her from marriage, only if proper parents existed, but then they would have probably easily found out the truth, oof... ). But then again, the toxic yuri has the spotlight and that's exactly what gives these stories such a great narrative to follow from beginning to end, heart pounding and eyes peeled. You definitely know your craft, and being your Lonely's biggest fan, I knew exactly what I was getting myself into with this one. The futility of trying to escape is not granted here and you made it such a wholesome experience to immerse into with such narrative and stunning visuals. And that graveyard adventure... yeah...the beginning of my interest in this kind of stuff... (Nah, I am lying, it was the grave digger from Lonely initially, but this one only perpetuated the growth of interest).
You have a ton of potential in the horror, gothic genre! Keep up the good work!!
