I'm going to repeat my comment (with a good bit of modifications), just because it voices my thoughts perfectly. This game is soulcrushing in the best way possible. Absolutely gut-wrenching. I deeply care for every single character, and there is clearly a phenomenal author and gamedev behind it. Even the base concept is extremely creative, and its execution is done in the most perfect way. I don't say this lightly, but the ending leaves you with a feeling seldom reached in any other game. You will be reminded of something lost in the files of the old online games made in the early 2000s, a sense of familiarity and longing returning. The themes are flawless as well. Lost friendships, but not the kind that end with an argument. The shutdown of an old, nostalgic game. The photos and messages left behind by a person (past you) so familiar, yet so foreign at the same time. The desire to escape. I doubt the dev will see this, but I wanted to say this regardless.
