i keep coming back to this. the art, the themes, the fact that there are five different stories to be devoured here--the compendium trilogy ties together masterfully on the precipice of the end. so much work is found in the entire trilogy, from the language created for the sake of this world, to the different characters seemingly coming from all different walks of life, and even to managing to set the scene so clearly within the  constraint of 500 words every time. i cannot wait to see more. but for now, i will be replaying these games.
