Nice stuff! I wasn't expecting it to be a kind of light squad tactics game. I think you could develop on that idea and make something really cool.

In practice I just kept my foxes together and scramble attacked the prey, which worked well enough. There are too many routes of escape to set up ambushes, but you could do it with another map and less random animal placement. 

Nice graphics, too, obviously.
