One dev to another, it is straight up wrong to use Gen AI. The machines that generate the images use stolen art, and the energy output to generate these images is harmful to the environment. I know it's tough being a new dev with little money, but it's more ethical to save up and give an artist a job than to steal jobs from artists. The game could really be something if it weren't built on theft.
