Even though the reason for abandoning the project was understandable; the dev made a lot of good investments, didn't need to work anymore, and also lost interest in developing the game... They should have simply made an announcement and closed their Patreon rather than ghosting their own community. The game itself? Eh. It was so-so, and the free release pretty much was only an start to a game.
