I really, really like the parts where Veiss shows some degree of control over the player character - making them gulp water without their knowing that the impulse for that wasn't their own (I hope I understood that scene correctly), trapping them in the VR until he is done with them, and holding their computer hostage when he decides they've worked enough for the day lmao. Deliciously fucked up.

I also feel sorry for him - being sapient while having no physical existence seems terrifying to me. 

I look forward to how this story plays out!
