I found that the character work in this VN is pretty good. For the two characters we spend time with currently, I really liked what we got to see of them; the emotional places they were at felt pretty real. It's what makes me want to return to this VN should it update in the future. I like that in both cases, friendship was the main result/priority.

The setting, a permanent research submarine, also poses a lot of interesting potential for a continuing narrative (perhaps isolation from the above world, the divide between classes of workers, risks of operating under the sea, etc.).

Here are a few things that I didn't enjoy as much, and would like to see revised:

• I think the intro narration with the MC could be tightened a little...it got a tad meandering, especially towards the end

• Having some sound effects in addition to the music would help ground the narrative in its setting. As-is, the music had a tendency for me in the beginning to kinda distract me from the narrative due to the sound staying consistent for a good while.

• Perhaps being able to have some custom sprites may help the sprites "do a little more of the emotional talking"

All in all, this VN has good potential with easily revisable things
