I've played a bunch of sylvie games, and this quickly became one of my favorites. The world turning black when you picked up a key was brilliant, and as soon as I figured out how ladders worked I was hooked. Surprises and discoveries like that are one of my favorite parts of games, and the surprises in Funeral Song for the Elemental Lords were some of the best. Realizing that you're not actually supposed to get all the elements and getting to areas where it would have been really nice to have the other element were really cool, and I liked how the areas were almost taunting you for not bringing the element associated with them (despite that being necessary to progress). Flying with wind and fire, the "oh my god there are kittens already in the world", the list goes on. I really liked how familiar the world became, and how intimately you got to know the map. I loved the tricky platforming, it felt nice being able to overcome those challenges. The Demon Form bosses were fun, I liked how they were all different kinds of fights but still engaging. The Love and Fire Demon Forms were easy, but the Wind Demon Form (Gale Force) took me over an hour... Anyway, this is a game that permanently lives in my head now, and I wanted to thank you for making it. Thanks!
