This is a extremely frustrating read, there is some very heavy-handed world-building, that takes the forefront, of the story it's piled on and reiterated, in almost every single scene, characters are impervious to 1+1=2, they don't function in the story as thinking beings, there's also inconsistencies in what the characters know, as it seems the author forgot the character had been told this information before and did it again, characters are also inconsistent emotionally, especially the main character, there are 180° turns at random, for plot convenience, the "action" scenes are not interesting, they are derived, and in service of, power-scaling, and the clusterfuck of world-building, motivations are all over the place and aren't convincing in the slightest, character conflict is reinforced, by essentially repeating a previous line or even scene entirely, it's also sometimes resolved for one scene and back at the next, Another problem is having everything be high stakes, there's no room for characters to breathe, and the novel ends up being extremely monotone. I'd say to get a proofreader, several of these issues could be solved by just having somebody help edit the storyboard,
